Favorite Scripture: Romans 5:8 God has shown His great love for us in that even in our sin, He sent His son to redeem us. How powerful is this bible verse that our Lord looked beyond our faults to send His only son to save us. Favorite Hymns: “Pass Me Not” – This is one of my favorite hymns as it is a source of comfort to me during times of difficulty and trouble when the enemy is attempting to challenge my faith.

My Christian journey began when I was twelve years old. I attribute my faith walk to my grandparents who raised me; Mary & Harrison Butler. As Unity was without a baptismal pool, I was baptized by Rev. Samuel Moore at Morning Star Baptist Church located in the 1000 block of Fayette Street, Baltimore, Maryland.

From my youth through adulthood, I have participated in several organizations at Unity: Baptist Training Union, Sunday School, Samuel Moore Spiritualist, Young Adult Choir, Junior Deacon, Men’s Choir, Finance Committee, Building Committee, Trustee, & Deacon.

I am a very firm believer in the power of prayer and in the power of relationships among like-minded believers. I have great love for Unity. I am not only dedicated to the maintenance of the physical structure of the church, but also dedicated to uplifting the spiritual needs of the congregation.
