Deacon Ministry

The Board of Deacons at Unity Baptist Church are the spiritual arm of the church which supports the Pastor, congregation, and ministries of the Church. The Deacons work closely with the Pastor to aid people in developing and growing a relationship with Christ. I became a member of Unity Baptist Church in 1997 and was ordained as a Deacon July 22, 2001. I have always been encouraged at Unity to study, learn the Word, pray and apply the Word in every aspect of my life. The First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to Timothy is one of my favorite Chapters in the Bible because I believe it is the leadership manual for churches.
